Day 2 Didn’t End Up Great, Either
Well, I had high hopes for Tuesday. High hopes. They got smashed quickly when Mason woke up with a gunky eye. I actually didn’t think much of it until I took a closer look right before the bus came. Those eye boogers weren’t just eye boogers. No, they had the appearance of pink eye. My neighbor confirmed it. And away we went to the doctor’s! The kids did well. I bribed them, of course. And come to find out, my little cutie has not only double pink eye, but double ear infection. Score! Needless to say, the movie playdate scheduled for today got postponed. At least it’s not the flu bug, though!
And then this!
By 3:00, I was ready for a drink and then bed! (no, I didn’t have a drink at 3:00, or at all.)
Post Edit:
I found Emma’s first victim. Baby Doll.
And a second weapon hiding nearby.
I think it’s safe to say you won’t see my daughter behind the counter at Laura Mercier or Bobbi Brown in the future.

I am pretty sure that you did something like this when you were small also. But, I think that you were probably about 3 or 4 years old. It does make Moms laugh to see what our mom daughters get to experience too
Blogging is such a good thing for moms of SpNeeds kiddos. I so wish I’d had it when my 18 yr old was little. I could look back and laugh at all those funny things. But honestly, a lot of what I remember is just being tired/exhaused – physically and emotionally . . . and the guilt.
I LOVE the pictures!
too funny, though perhaps not so much at the time.
Oh, I know I did. If I recall, I added “longer lashes” to my baby doll. And I think mine was with a sharpie, because it never came off!
Blogging is definitely a good outlet. I enjoy reading others blogs as well! I think sometimes I get to a point where I block out the exhaustion and guilt. Or sometimes, I think I’m going okay at not feeling either. It’s probably a coin toss!
Lol lol lol I have banned all markers from my house and have it in her IEP that she is NOT to use them or the Expo marker either(those are the worst nothing removes an expo marker) because yes my girl has done the same thing. Thank goodness you found the scissors befre they were used on anything… Hang tough school starts again right around the corner…m
